Today, August 27th, 2025, marks a historic milestone in the journey of our beloved Jigawa State as we celebrate 34 years of its creation. Established in 1991, Jigawa has grown into a beacon of resilience, unity, and continuous development.

From its humble beginnings, Jigawa has made remarkable strides in education, agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure, and community empowerment. The state has also remained steadfast in upholding its cultural heritage, values of integrity, and spirit of togetherness that define its people.

On this special occasion, the Gumel Emirate Foundation (GEF) proudly joins the government and good people of Jigawa in commemorating this anniversary. As an organization dedicated to advancing community development and social progress, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift lives, promote inclusivity, and foster sustainable growth across the state.
