What We Do ?
The Gumel Emirate Foundation (GEF) is a charitable, non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1997 through the vision of Late Major Ibrahim Dahiru and with generous contributions from the people and friends of the indigenes of Gumel Emirate.
From its inception, the Foundation has been dedicated to advancing the welfare of communities across the Emirate by investing in education, empowerment, climate action, and social development projects.
GEF also sustains its charitable activities through income generated from its Motel, Halls, and ICT services, ensuring self-reliance while extending a helping hand to the entire Emirate. In addition, many kind-hearted donors continue to support GEF’s mission, making it a true community-driven foundation.
Over the years, GEF has become a unifying force for Gumel, Gagarawa, Maigatari, and Sule Tankarkar Local Government Areas, fostering development, service, and solidarity.
